Hey loves! I’m so excited to share our Carnival themed engagement session with you guys! This was so much fun to do with Adam, as we have never done an actual photo shoot together before. For our engagement, Adam found such a creative way to propose (see our proposal on howheasked blog here) on a vintage sailboat with a Brooklyn bridge backdrop. From there, I decided to make our engagement party in a tent in my backyard, and make it a Nautical theme. Maybe I got a little carried away with the themes but I LOVE THEMED everything! With that being said, a fun and whimsical carnival-themed photo shoot felt fitting, as we did not want to do the typical “engagement session” most couples do. Although, it’s beautiful, I wanted something else that would really describe us as a couple and tell a story.
Doing the engagement shoot in October, had us limited to where exactly we would do a Carnival theme, as all of the state fairs in the area were over by then since the summer had ended. Then, the most amazing opportunity fell into my lap when Coney Island’s Luna Park, said they’d love to do a collaboration with us, to not only let us shoot in the park, but also asked if we’d like to be the face of their website campaigns! It was a perfect match! (Stay tuned for all the pics up on the Luna Park site very soon! Exciting!!!) I hope you love the photos and see below for all outfit details for both me and Adam.
Ps. We did a second look, which will also be posted soon!
